Another 6 Fruit Pies

I just never got the knack for making crust. When I lived on my own, I bought frozen. Now that I'm living at my mother's, she don't allow no frozen crust! So I leave it to her to make the crust. Often she does the filling. Too many cooks in the kitchen... well, you know the old adage.





 Since Fluffo isn't around, Crisco will surely do. It's Mom's choice of shortening.

 I realize the not-quite-so-dark splotch may make it hard to read. Perhaps printing will help, I don't know.

What is your favorite fruit pie? Me, I love lemon pies first of all and then cherry.




The below Lemon Chiffon Pie calls for La Creme whipped topping. I haven't seen that around in years! Cool Whip should work just as well.
